The museum ghosts are on the prowl! A week of gruesome holiday fun with creepy magic lantern shows, spooky dungeon tours, spine-chilling storytelling and loads of creepy crafts. Programme changes daily. 10am - 12 pm, 1 - 3.30pm.

Shipwrecked: Build Your Own Graphic Novel!

Create your own gruesome graphic novel with famous horror writer Alexander Gordon Smith. Find out about local shipwrecks and those that lost their lives at sea as you create your own spooky story this Halloween. Workshops with three parts will be held 11am-1pm or 2-4pm - drop in activity. (NB this event takes place on Monday 27, Wednesday 29 & Friday 31 October - not Tuesday 28 as stated in the events leaflet)

On the afternoons of Tuesday 28, Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 October, come and discover a wide range of transport items in the Norfolk Collections Centre, where Norfolk Museum Service keeps some of the larger objects from its reserve collections. Meet the Shine a Light Project team and Colin, their mascot. Colin is a baby snap dragon and his parents are currently being looked after by the Conservation Department as they have hurt their wings. See if you can find the best mode of transport to get Colin’s mum and dad back home!
