Willow Garden Sculptures with Sue Kirk

On this one-day workshop you will make two or three structures to take home for your garden. You will be taught how to grow willow and prepare it for weaving, and a variety of basketry techniques such as three rod wale, randing, pairing and binding. You will construct dragonflies, tea light lanterns, bird feeders or two different styles of climbers for beans or sweet peas. After a popular workshop in 2017, tutor and basket maker Sue Kirk returns to Gressenhall to teach garden structures. Suitable for beginners, or as a follow up to last year’s Bird Sculptures.
